Kahoot Instructions

  • Leader needs to use this link to open the game, and will need to login or create a free account (this should only take a minute)
  • Click “Start” under “Classic Mode”
  • Invite students to open Kahoot.it via web browser on their phone or computer, select “play,” and insert the game PIN as well as a nickname. (There is no need for players to create an account).
  • Once everyone is logged in, with their names appearing on screen, leader selects “start.”
  • Each question will remain active for 2 minutes, so be sure to read the “Full Scenario” section in the Activity Discussion Guide right away so people can answer the prompt on screen by selecting the answer on their device.
  • Once everyone has answered or when time is up, the question will close and the answer will be revealed. At this time, the leader should then read the “Explanation” section and then allow a few minutes for discussion before moving on to the next question.
  • The game will automatically keep score and announce winners at the end. 
  • Be sure to share the resources below at the end of the meeting to educate folks on how to be safe!

  • The main discussion will take place throughout the activity, with a few minutes provided after each question. Once the game is over, consider asking:
    • What is one thing you will take away from this activity?
