• Help students build a habit of kindness by doing kind acts for 21 days (and beyond!)
  • Show that kindness means treating everyone with respect, support, and celebration for who they are

  • Kindness helps everyone feel included and valued. It also supports students’ mental well-being.

  • The whole school
  • Extracurricular clubs

  • School administrators (for approval)
  • Club sponsors

  • Announce the #BeKind365 Challenge to students and parents through a letter
  • OMM club leaders pick daily acts of kindness from the website
  • Display the daily kind act on a bulletin board or school calendar
  • Share the kindness activity each day through school announcements
  • Optional ideas:
    • Set up a kindness table where OMM students can share information and volunteer opportunities
    • Invite other clubs and students to join the challenge
    • Have grade levels compete to see who can do the most kind acts
    • Celebrate at the end with a kindness party (popcorn or pizza if the budget allows!)

  • Promote the challenge with posters, newsletters, and announcements. Here are example messages you can use:
    • “The world needs your kindness! Join the OMM club to #BeKind365 by doing one act of kindness for yourself and others every day for 21 days. Let’s make kindness a habit! Thanks to Born This Way Foundation, @btwfoundation.”
    • “Let’s finish the semester on a kind note! Join OMM in pledging to be kind to yourself and others every day!”
    • “21 days of kindness starts now—who’s in?”

  • How many clubs joined the challenge?
  • How many students completed the challenge?
  • Are students talking about kindness and doing kind acts? If so, the challenge is making a difference!

  • How did this challenge increase kindness in our school?
  • How can we continue spreading kindness even after the challenge ends?
