Questions:

  • Ask club members to say “Au revoir” and “Adios” to something that has been weighing them down.
  • Ask folks to share 3 things they’ve learned about themselves or mental health thus far.
  • Name one thing you love about our OMM community.
  • Name one thing that you find positive about yourself.
  • Name one kind of joyful movement you can engage in this week.
  • Name one thing you can take away from today’s meeting.
  • Share your favorite new song & how it makes you feel.
  • Share one way you plan to prioritize your wellness/mental health.
  • What is your favorite way to show love to someone you care about?
  • What is something that brings you joy? If you’re not feeling joy, what brings you comfort?
  • What is your favorite way to receive love from someone you care about?
  • What is one way you plan to take care of yourself this week?
  • Share a skill you’ve used recently to support your mental health or a friend’s mental health.
  • What is one thing you’re grateful for today?

Practices:

  • Take 3 deep belly breaths together and think of 3 things you love in the world.
  • Take 3 deep belly breaths together and think of 3 people you can turn to when you’re struggling.
  • Take 3 deep belly breaths together and name 5 things you can see, 4 things you can touch, 3 things you can hear, 2 things you can smell, and 1 thing you can taste.
  • Invite participants to close their eyes and place their hand on their heart. Read off the following affirmation slowly:
    • I honor and support myself (repeat 3x)
    • Let’s take 3 deep breaths together and end with a smile.
