Hey Grad,
Let us be the first to say congratulations on finishing up your high school career! We hope that you’re taking some time to celebrate and soak up all the good energy that can come with big accomplishments. However, we know that this time can come with lots of mixed emotions and for some folks, might be a tough time overall. So if you’re not in the celebrating mood, that’s ok too.
Transitioning out of high school and into the next chapter of your life, whether that be college, the workforce, the military, or another adventure, brings with it not just opportunity, but lots of uncertainty. Give yourself some grace during this time of change and let yourself feel how you feel. You’re exactly where you’re supposed to be, and you don’t have to have it all figured out. In fact–no one really does!
Above all else, remember that your mental health always comes first. You dedicated so much of your high school career to learning coping skills, supporting your peers, and making your school a better place and now it’s time to commit to taking those experiences with you. Check out the resources on this page that we created for our awesome alumni:

Oh, and you can check out our partners at Active Minds and The Jed Foundation if you want to stay involved with mental health advocacy in college or the workplace!
Congratulations again and know that OMM is always here for you.
