Representing at a Club Fair

It’s that time of year again! The school year is in full swing & many of our clubs have represented their Minds Matter club by hosting a booth at a club fair. A club fair is a great way to get the word out about your club and to recruit new members. We know that each school works a little differently, so we are sharing three of our clubs at their club fairs.

Edison Minds Matter from Alexandria, VA set up a table in a hallway to pass out information about Our Minds Matter and their club! It looks like they passed out some stickers and maybe some treats for passersbys.

Cougar Minds Matter from Gaithersburg, MD set up a table outside (hey look it’s a basketball hoop!) – their table had a trifold poster to include some flyers from their club. Pretty creative.

Firebirds Minds Matter from Fremont, CA also set up their booth outside the building and were visited by some cheerleaders. Club booths are also a great way to attract students who might not otherwise know about your club such as student athletes (check out our Athletes’ Minds Matter guide for how to partner with your school’s athletic department).

We want to commend all of our clubs who represented at a club fair this year. Even though we are now well into the school year, it is never too late to set up a table around your school to welcome students into your Minds Matter community.

If you would like to have your club’s work highlighted in an  upcoming Club Feature, please email [email protected] with a description of your initiative and pictures (if possible)!
