Two Friends Bike 4,300 miles To End Teen Suicide

welcome home, mental health heroes!

Mental Health activists and friends, Heath Saffer and Omar Baloch finished their 4,300 miles cross-country trek over Fourth of July weekend, ending their journey in Bethany Beach, DE. Heath & Omar lost their childhood friend, Devon Rubenstein, to suicide and CYCLE4LIFE was created by Our Minds Matter and the Devon C. Rubenstein Foundation to raise funds and awareness for teen suicide prevention.

Heath and Omar not only muscled through intense elements along the way but garnered vast attention and awareness for mental health and suicide prevention over the past few months. They have spread messages of help and hope from Washington State, across Wyoming and the mid-west all the way to Nashville and finally, the Eastern Shore. They have interviewed OMM students along their route and spoken with real people who are riding along on their own mental health journey. They have met and inspired hundreds, if not thousands, along their way. They are true heroes.
