On Sunday, March 21st, 82 student leaders from 44 OMM chapters across the globe rang in spring. It was our most international class yet, students came from Virginia and Maryland to Medellin, Colombia. By the luck of the Irish, we had some new prospective leaders from Northern Ireland visit us as well.
The training started off with OMM Program Coordinator, Catherine Royston, sharing a story of hope about her mental health journey. Students were then given an opportunity to reflect on how this last year has been for them and to consider how they have grown in the midst of a pandemic. Next, student leaders reviewed leadership succession tips and tricks to be able to sustain their clubs into the the 2021 – 2022 school year.
The recording of the training is posted on the club portal for all active OMM chapters and students that couldn’t attend.
