On March 7th, 2026, OMM hosted an in-person Teen Leader Summit, providing a safe space for teens to connect, share ideas, sharpen their leadership skills, practice self-care, and leave with a clear plan of action to make an impact for mental health at the individual and systemic levels. More than 50 OMM teen leaders from across the DC-metro region came together to shift the narrative around teen mental health from fragility to something much more accurate: Teens are capable when they are empowered, supported, and connected to a strong network of peers and trusted adults. Thanks to an incredible outpouring of support, we not only met our $100,000 match challenge - we surpassed it! 🎉 Together, we raised $212,775 for teen mental health, including the unlocked $100K match. 🙌 We are so grateful for this amazing community and the way you continue to show up for teens. This match was created in honor of our CEO’s late grandparents, Gerry and Mary Anderson. Thank you to every donor who joined this campaign and helped carry forward their legacy of leaving the world better than they found it.
