While approaches to mental health may differ, a few similarities include valuing multigenerational communities and strong family bonds, which can serve as protective factors for some. Prayer circles and other community based practices which involve dance, music, and food may help them feel more connected to each other. Latinxtherapy.com is a website which offers online therapy and a database of Latinx speakers. It has access to the only nationwide directory for Latinx therapists in private practice, providing Latinx folks with an accessible option for seeking out therapists who can fully understand their culture and its impact on their mental health.
